Our B17 engine

The engine and propeller from a WWII B17 Flying Fortress, similar to The Memphis Belle, are displayed in The Pilot’s garden. They were snagged off Dungeness by local fishermen Joe Thomas and Tom Redshaw on September 18, 2017.  Read more >

Hagstones are stones with natural holes, typically found in water bodies, believed to protect from magic due to being shaped by running water. They’re also called Holy, Holey, Ephialtes, Wish, Nightmare, and Witch Riding Stones.  Read more >

Life On Marsh
